Xmas Wish List

Oh I saw this tonight and I've absolutely fallen in LOVE! Its the Sigma Makeup Premium Professional Kit www.sigmabeauty.com (just sounds amazing doesn't it?) Its about $150.00 USD ... about the most expensive thing on the website...but hey! I figure if I'm going to get serious about this, why not go all out?

I officially decided today that I'm going to get some professional certification under my belt as a Professional Make Up Artist :)

Once I've saved up a bit of mulah and my schedule clears up, I'm going to do it - most likely afterwork/part time.

Then maybe start it up as a part time business? As bridal/photography shoots on the weekends? Couldn't hurt, right?

If anyone out there is actuallly reading this at the moment (although I suspect not haha) and you're a make up artist? Could you please offer me some tips?

Desperately Seeking Make Up

Gah!

I couldn't believe it but someone "permanently borrowed" (I hate to use the word "stole") my make up
bag from work :( I was SO devastated...I'm sure any girl can sympathize what a huge investment a make up bag is and all the products that go in it.

And then for it just to disappear? / sigh.... I was so desperate in fact that I even sent out a blast email to the entire branch asking about it - very funny considering I work in a completely male environment. Highly amusing the comments I recieved after, I assure you.

So keeping this in mind I headed out early after work to head down to the shops to get some more supplies before the shops closed. Especially had to do this as I was going on a demonstration today out in the country and wouldn't of had time to do so otherwise. Plus, didn't want to "scare" the public :P

Please see below for my now "new" updated makeup collection. This is going to have to be just the start and do me over until my next paycheck. So annoying...all the time and effort to go back to all the different shops and product companies and to get the right "shade" etc etc

Well, at least let's just say I've learnt a lesson through all of this and one that I want to share with all of you

1. Do not take your "good" make up bag to work/school (including all your brushes, aka a $70 MAC stippling brush)

2. Have a "back up" make up bag for work/school (filled with cheaper products)

Also had a couple of more products that I bought like

- Eye shawdow palette

- Black eyeliner

- Black liquid liner

But apparently I've already used up my Flickr photo limit for this month :(

I absolutely LOVE this new product out by L'Oreal :) It really and truely washes the face so very, very well. I especially love the little "scrubber" that comes with it - you really feel like its getting into your pores. Take for example, the other day I caked on a bit more makeup/foundation for work than I usually do and felt gross coming home that night. So I washed my face with my regular facecloth and then remembered, "Ah-ha!" I have my new facewash. Let me just say, I could not BELIEVE the amount of makeup that was still coming off when I was using the scrubber - it was INSANE! Now I'm completely "sold" and would definitely recommend this product. Certainly smells very nice too :)
